Out in force to help the club
April, 2009

Matlock Cricket Club once again took part in the ECB's 'NatWest Cricket Force' initiative on Saturday, 4th April, 2009.

This is where players swap bats for brushes and supporters and parents swap sunhats (more like umbrella's) and deckchairs for screwdrivers and drills.

This years NatWest Cricket Force was lead by Ian Higginbottom and the club are very grateful for the work Ian put in, making it a very successful event.

Matlock Cricket Club would also like to say a very big thank you to the staff of Matlock's NatWest branch who came down to the ground to play there part in the event. Thanks again to everyone who gave up their time to support Matlock Cricket Club during Cricket Force on Saturday.
